All the great support and comfort of the original Ergo Baby Carrier with less material and with a softer fabric.  Fits particularly short and, paradoxically, taller people better. 

Much better than the Baby Bjorn or other "crotch carriers" because the ergonomic design makes it MUCH more comfortable for baby and for you.  But, more importantly, a crotch carrier can cause spinal compression due to the fact that gravity is pushing down on your baby but the baby is stopped from going down at the crotch.

TIP - Orthopedists don't recommend splaying a child's legs until at least 3 months.  But with the Ergo Infant Insert this won't be a problem.
